Entries, payments and tallying for sailing clubs

WeMuster is event software built for sailing clubs. It takes race entries and payments online before the day, then accounts for every sailor on and off the water using NFC wristbands, so the duty officer always knows who is still out.

One system, the whole event

How a club uses it on the day

1. Someone on the registration desk signs sailors in as they arrive.
2. A tagging device beside them gives each sailor a wristband.
3. The beach master releases each fleet when it is safe to launch.
4. Tallying at the slip taps everyone out, then back in as they land.
5. The safety lead watches the number still out until it reaches zero.

What it costs

Setting up a club, building an event and opening entries is free. There is no card to hand over and nothing to cancel. If a club charges for entry, a platform fee applies to money actually collected, and it is shown before payments are switched on. Free-to-enter events cost nothing at all.

An aid, not a safety system

WeMuster records who has signed out and who has not signed back in. It cannot see the water and it does not replace safety cover, supervision or a club's own procedures. Clubs should keep a paper backup of the roll call.
