Free to set up, and a club's free events cost nothing. A small percentage of payments you collect, and nothing on top of what entrants pay.
Setting up, building events and opening entries is free. There is no subscription, no card to hand over, and nothing to cancel.
A free event is one with no entry fee. A priced extra, such as a T-shirt, does not change that.
On a club's account, free events cost nothing, however many enter. Club racing, training days and first open meetings are how people come into the sport, and we do not think the sport should pay for growing.
On a governing body's or class association's account, the first 30 people on each free event are free too, so small events still cost nothing. Each person over 30 is £2, or €2 for an event in euros. Everyone in a crew counts, and people imported from a CSV are not counted. Nothing under £5 is charged.
When an event passes 30 people you are asked to add a card, on its Entries page and by email. It is charged the day after the event ends, with a receipt by email, and kept for your next event. If it cannot be charged you are emailed a link to pay; until that is paid, your free events take no more than 30 people online. The registration desk always works.
This applies to events ending on or after 7 November 2026. What your organisation runs is chosen once, when you set up; to change it, get in touch.
The fee comes out of the payment as it is made. An entrant pays exactly the price on your page, with nothing added. On a £70 entry, WeMuster's 2% is £1.40.
Stripe charges its own card processing fee as well, which is between your club and Stripe.
The rate that applies to you is shown under Payments before you take a penny. If a refund is made, our fee on it is not returned. The terms of use set this out in full.
