Medical notes and who sees them

Who can read an entrant's medical notes and emergency contacts, and where they appear on the day.

Medical notes and emergency contacts are never public. They can be seen by:

• the people on your organisation's account, and editors and viewers of that event;
• the Safety Lead station, which shows them for everybody on the water;
• the Tallying station, which shows any answer marked Show at check-in in a white box as that person goes out. Medical notes are marked that way unless you change it.

A Helper on the event cannot see them, and neither can the beach master.

Medical notes are deleted with the rest of an entrant's personal details, a set time after the event finishes. See Closing an event and deleting data.
