Selling membership
Set up a membership year with its categories and rates, and take subscriptions by card into your own Stripe account.
Clubs and class associations can sell membership. Each year is set up under Memberships with + New membership year. Its page is the join form, and on an association's site the Membership tab goes straight to it.
- Which year, and when it runs. The name members see when they join and on their receipt, and when the year starts and ends. Tick Rolling membership for life membership or a scheme with no fixed year.
- Who can join, and on what terms. One rate for everybody, or several categories such as senior, junior, family and associate, each with its price and how many people it covers. Choose whether to publish a list of members, which is off unless you turn it on.
- What it costs. Any rate on top of the categories, and a household discount when somebody joins several people at once.
- What you ask members. A join form needs less than a race entry: no medical notes or emergency contacts unless you add them.
Honorary and life members
For a rate you give rather than sell, tick Only for people on an approved email list on that category. People must give an email on your list to join at it.
WeMuster's fee on membership payments is 3%. See What WeMuster costs.
